RTRfm Soulsides Fundraiser - Funk Club May 26, 2006

“...the DJ fare was suddenly interrupted by a group of orange-garbed musicians bearing large instruments emerging from a back room. It was the Chameleon Brass Band Parade doing their famous mingle-with-the-crowd performance style, looking rather like the band that travels with Holland's soccer crowds and sounding like a Brazillian carnival. It was a brilliant vibe that drew in people from all over and got the side bar crammed and at least the front half of the room shimmying and sashaying to the festival atmosphere and party tunes.?? _MATTY P XPress Magazine revue 1st June 2006

Araluen Chilli Festival

“Wow! We were very impressed with the (Chameleon Brass) Band and they fitted so well with the Chilli theme. We find that the moving entertainment really gives the festival a carnival feel and stall holders and visitors all get a chance to enjoy the music. Your outfits were great, especially the green and orange tuxedos and the choice of music fabulous. We were very impressed with the bands performance and would love to have them back. Congratulations.?? Liz Dunn Administration/Events Officer Araluen Botanic Park Foundation (Inc)

Joondalup Festival

Testimonial from Goollelal Primary School after a series of Parade workshops and the Chameleon Debut performance in the Joondalup Festival Parade, March 2005. “In speaking to many people they all agreed that having (the Chameleon Brass) band really added to the atmosphere, it was also great having the singing as well, this helped to get everyone involved. We felt that it was better to have a band and singing rather than a float. Parents commented that they could hear us coming. Everyone agreed that it was a great evening. Thank you for all your organization.?? Libby Johnson Arts Co-ordinator Goollelal Primary School

Bunbury Events

"Recently I contracted the Chameleon Brass Band to perform at the City of Bunbury Christmas Carnival. The intention was to source an act that would work within a programme of mainly local performers and give the carnival a professional edge. Based on this the Chameleon Brass Band led the Christmas parade then performed as the final act on stage. Throughout the lead up time and for the duration of the Carnival I found Ken and the band great to deal with. We presented a tight turn a round on the day and the weather was very inclement however the entire crew were very accommodating and professional in their approach and the audience loved them. Based on this I have booked the Chameleon Brass Band for two more regional events in 2006 and look forward to working with them again." Jo O’Dea Arts Events, Bunbury
